@@SarahKathleenRomantic You embody the french girls style perfectly, you exude what some french women have, the genuine elegance which comes from within, that makes you seem both classy and open to the world around you, with a touch of seductive playfulness. 💕 My go to for shoes in spring is (for practical wear) white sneakers, then what feels most like me is definetly pointy or oval shaped flats with an ankle strap ! Black or nude pink ones. And when I'm a bit more dressy I like open or closed sandals with a low heel, or slingbacks !

When I think of Parisian French girl style I automatically think of that typical French "cool girl" city look; androgynous, lots of tailoring especially a slightly oversized blazer (stolen from "Le boyfriend") and that distinctive bedhead hair paired with a perfected red lip, et voilà!!! 🥐🇫🇷💋 The epitome of nonchalance but more accurately sprezzatura (studied nonchalance!!!) 😜 Your more girly style (which I prefer cause it's like mine 😍) is hot weather French girl style where she's leisurely strolling a Sunday market or out in the countryside. 🥖💐🚲 I was lucky enough to live in Paris for a year (as an exchange student) and you are right about the shoes! Lots of cobles/walking/hoping on and off of the metro, so better flat shoes than stilettos!!! Would love to see what you are planning to wear to Italy, I already know it's going to be gorgeous!!! ☺💕

I loved this video, I learned so much! It's so interesting to learn about the different international versions, that all still connect as very elegant feminine styles. I am actually going to Europe for the first time in two weeks! My schedule is so packed already I don't think I will make it to France or Italy, which is a huge bummer. Hi Sarah, I always get a little giddy when I see you are a doing a french girl video. It is SO much my vibe and i just love your take on it. You did a great job wiht your choices. While I liked them all and they each fit the theme you were going for, the first outfit is my favorite. I don't know why, but right now i am all about the flowy feminine blouses with wide leg jeans. Maybe because I have always loved that little hint of boho in my looks. I liked that you went with the blue stripe as a take on the french mariner top. I recently found a great red and white stripe mariner that I love to with wear with my black maxi that has a lace overlay and red sling backs. I'm looking for a great pair of white sunglasses to finish off the look. Thanks for always giving such great inspiration!

I am right there with you in regards to loving the wide leg jeans, Karen!! Everything right now in my style must be high waisted/ wide leg 💖 I have so overlooked the striped Breton top until now... I LOVE it! Im hoping Sezane or & Other Stories will have some more options of the striped top soon but I have my eye on one. I like the red and white mariner top you mentioned 😍 Let me know if you find a pair of white sunglasses because I am on the lookout for a pair too ✨

@@SarahKathleenRomantic They definitely work right now with ligher weight flowy tops in spring and summer and early fall especially. And I am with you with the highwaist. That is a must. But I will always keep my skinnies for fall and winter as there is nothing more comfortable on cold blustery day than a pair of skinnies and an oversized cashmere sweater. That's why I love the change of seasons so much. Variety is the spice of life 🙂
