Lol, thank you. I broke a nail, so I needed to just cut them off and start over. When my nails are real short I always try to make them look a little better by adding a bit of color. I’ve always worn more skirts and dresses than trouser outfits, even at home. It’s partly from how things were when I was young, partly for their superior comfort, but mostly because in 50 years, I’ve never found any jeans or other trousers with a reasonable fit for my narrow-hipped figure. Plus, I just love their femininity, even with an otherwise tailored outfit, they look womanly. I’m going out for brunch today and am wearing my new Sezane tapestry-printed cotton dress and coordinating Betty Cardigan, with knee-high boots. The French love jeans, but they wear a lot of skirts and dresses, too.

My favorites are 2” block heels from Cole Hahn in a suede that I purchased earlier this year. Also have a pair of patent leather captoe block heels.
