I remember when I bought the Bon Jovi New Jersey Album, boy did I have trouble making the money (as a fifteen year old) to buy it. When I finnaly had the dough in my hands I went all excited to the record store, it was called Coco Disco and bought it! That night and for at least six other nights in a row I laid in bed enjoying that music on my cassete player, as only teenagers can!

I seen this show live I’m 55 years old now and it still gets me off my ass on my feet. I’ve been a fan when really nobody really knew Bon Jovi early early days friend of mine brother worked in Jersey brought back a bootleg cassette and the rest is history I’d love to go back to those days and live the 80’s one more time. People make fun of the big hair days, glam rock they call it but in my opinion it was the golden age of Rock N Roll and we will never experience that again. If you were there and seen BON JOVI, Motley Crue, GNR, Poison, Ozzy, Skid Row, Ratt and the hardest Rock Band in my opinion METALLICA then you know what I’m talking about you felt the energy in the place especially right before the show starts that’s why I love this video so much to me it’s the closest thing we have to bring us back to that very special moment in time.

Sexiest bloody, entertainers to walk the face of the Earth, all of them. Bon Jovi and all the rest. Kids today, truly, do not have a clue. They don't get it; it was ALL, part of the SHOW. And WHAT, a bloody, show it was, too. It was indeed, a special moment in time, one which I would go back to in a heartbeat, to relive again, if only I could.

A friend of mine had two extra tickets and invited me and my wife to go with him. Atlanta the Omni March 1989. I didn’t know much about them other than the hits like Livin on a Prayer and Wanted Dead or Alive. They came on to this song with the drum and guitar build up and everyone went nuts. Then pyrotechnics and Jon appeared on stage out of nowhere and this song kicked in. I was in a state of euphoria and I thought I’d never heard a better opening song in all my life. And the good feel energy that Jon has was electrifying.
