I was there when they sang that song. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the first notes. I said to myself Oh my God it can't be! I was thrilled! Really thrilled! I really love when they surprise us like that by playing songs no one would think they would perform live again. Let's wish we'll have the chance to hear that stuff again. ♥♥♥

These classic Bon Jovi's songs are the best! I went to a concert and they sang this song, the new Bon Jovi fans, who weren't even born when this song was came out didn't know the words, or the song, but they rocked with the rest of "old people" lol Sometimes it's greaat getting old, especially when it comes to rock music! Rock on Bon Jovi!

The weekend comes to this town Seven days too soon For the ones who have to make up What we break up of their rules Well I saw Captain Kidd on Sunset Tell his boys they're in command While Chino danced a tango With a broomstick in his hand He said: It's alright (alright) if you have a good time It's alright (alright) if you want to cross that line To break on through to the other side Let it rock, let it go You can't stop a fire burning out of control Let it rock, let it go With the night you're on the loose You got to let it rock We go down to the Broadway Where everybody goes To get on their rockin' horse And blast that radio Well I saw Roxie on the table Her girlfriend down below They'll give it to the king of swing Before it's time to go They said, It's alright (alright) if you have a good time It's alright (alright) if you want to cross that line To break on through to the other side Let it rock, let it go You can't stop a fire burning out of control Let it rock, let it go With the night you're on the loose You got to let it rock

Jon in the late 80's and 90's was not thatvgood live but the rest were. Jon did not reach his perfection until late 2000's. Did security work at venues in NYC sovwe pretty much watched them grow up. Now after his surgury and Richie gone the boys should have taken a well needed rest as it hurts tovwatch Jon sing now. Im see he is getting better as the tour goes on but they need a break.

Carl Clandestine I can't agree more. We need to hear more stuff like this. It would sure add some spice to the setlists. Don't get me wrong I love Bon Jovi shows but I always have the impression of seeing the same show over and over again. We need more surprises and more spontaneity during the shows.
@GermanLeftist9 жыл бұрын
+Amy Edwards Well, they ain't no Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. They change their setlists actually quite often compared to other artists but as often as The Boss does it.
@unclebozo98458 жыл бұрын
As much as I (and many others) would love to see songs like Let it Rock, Only Lonely, Get Ready, Homebound Train, Something to Believe in, etc. at this point Jon's voice is completely shot to the point that he's even struggling on Who Says You Can't Go Home and Because We Can. It has improved slightly since october, but not nearly enough to be able to sing any of the old stuff well. I highly doubt we'll ever see these gems again in a setlist. Although he would probably still sound pretty good on "Shot Through the Heart" from the first album, since it requires very little range.
