Not this time, however. We’re talking cartoon dogs and a medal awarded by the Foreign Ministry of Lithuania for fighting Russian fake news online. NAFO is NATO’s online little brother, but it sure packs a powerful punch. And it needs to, for its adversaries are cunning and formidable, infiltrating the public debate in the West and normalizing fringe views in the process. Does NAFO’s popularity show that state institutions are falling behind when confronting disinformation online? To examine this, we were joined by Edward Hunter Christie, former NATO official.

Others mentioned it before, but the NAFO 69th Sniffing Brigade raises money to buy cars, especially four-wheel drive trucks, to deliver to the Ukrainian Army for their use. The soldiers use these vehicles to carry supplies and transport people around the front lines. They are makeshift ambulances too. More than one Ukrainian soldier owes his life to a NAFO 69th Sniffing Brigade vehicle. They assemble them (usually in the Baltics) and drive them in convoy through Poland to Ukraine. Look up the unit name (NAFO 69th, etc) to find them.

Elon Musk gave Ukraine satellite coverage when no one else did. Free speech tolerates "toxic" speech, always has. The government is a representation of we the people in a *real* democracy, and our elected religious, conservative representatives have been policing free speech for centuries. If you are old enough you should remember the free speech censorship debate of rap and metal music in the 80s and 90s when WalMart chose to play the policemen roll. And again during the first 8 years of the Afghan and Iraq war when famously the Dixie Chicks paid a heavy price when they exercised their First Amendment right. Elon Musk-o-vyy trampled on Free Speech again, when he blocked his critics on Twitter. Musk-o-vyy also threatened Ukraine to stop the satellite service. He finally got what he wanted: another steady government paycheck when he handed over the service to the defense department. Therefore, Twitter or any social media and news outlet should be owned and managed by the public, mature people not men babies or a network of billionaires who have a political agenda.
