“The more time they think about dogs, the less they can spread their propaganda and their defence of their war crimes.”
Kamil Dyszewski, founder of NAFO, the dog meme account subverting Russian propaganda, says it seeks to achieve “diplomacy through idiocy”.

I remember on Feb 25th or 26th 2022 a girl posted a video from Donetsk after the RussianZ came in. There was a DPR soldier (leader?) Well-known sitting on a low fence watching the Russians make their way through the street. The girl came up behind the DPR guy and asked him, "Aren't you glad the RussianZ are here?" And his head snsp around to face her and he said, "NO!" and the girl said, "what? What do you mean? Don't you them here?" and he said, "NO, WE DON'T WANT RUSSIANS HERE!! THEY KILLED MY MEN!!" She asked, "what do you mean? I thought you wanted to be part of Russia!" and he yelled, "WE DON'T WANT TO BE PART OF RUSSIA!! THEY TOOK MY MEN!! THEY KILLED THEM!!" and the girl said, "what do you mean, they killed them? Where are your men?" and he said, "I don't know!! The RussianZ just started kiling everyone!" and he was crying. The girl said, "oh" and that was the end of the video 🥺💔

I have mad respect for this man. He is so humble, kind-hearted and also motivated, determined to do what it takes to help a righteous cause. His story, his actions should be an inspiration to all good people of the world. He shows us all that non of us is truly powerless in changing the seemingly unchangeable things in the world. Things that may seem unreachable to us. He shows us that we CAN do something. Every one of us. We just have to have the will, strength, motivation and yearning to influence the world in a positive and righteous way. There are many people who want and DO cause evil in the world. And it may often seem that we can do nothing to stop it. But we CAN and we MUST. We just have to be determined, come together and every one of us must be willing to do their part. No matter how small and insignificant it may seem at first. This man is the proof of it. As Edmund Burke said: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." And it's the greatest truth there can be. Also, I think that his story deserves to be, at least, written as a book if not made into a full-blown documentary. Because fighting the hybrid war in the West and providing constant support to the Ukrainians is as important, as is fighting the real war for them. And I believe that this man deserves to be one of the legends who fought the ruSSian propaganda. No less in an ingenius way - by humor. I salute you, Sir!

Thing with the Russian principle of Lie, Amplify and Repeat is that its more trouble than its worth to disprove, suppress and reply. That won't get you anywhere against bot farms and useful idiots who are legion, however- you can mock them to the point they're a laughing stock and that achieves much the same thing of reducing them to miserable excuses on the internet and their message is nothing but a joke.

Sadly, we can't have everything... I understand your frustration and I also had to rewind some parts (while wearing headphones) to understand what he was saying. But overall, it was understandable enough with headphones so you could try listening to it again with some, if you'd like to know what he's talking about. For myself I must say, that the message he's presenting is amazing and he truly has my deepest respect for doing what he does. Also, as he mentioned, he doesn't have much money for himself as he gives almost everything he makes to the NAFO cause. So I can understand and accept that he doesn't have a quality mic. I think the overall message is what's important here. Not the quality it was presented in. But please, don't take this as me attacking or picking on your comment. As I've said, I understand you. I'm simply voicing my opinion to defend the guy. Have a great day my friend. And if you'd like to, I can only recommend giving it another chance and listening to it with some headphones. Hearing all of it gives me hope, that humanity isn't lost yet 😇

@@dixonpinfold2582 I meant the NAFO founder. And I don't watch all their videos so I didn't know that they often have bad sound quality. If that's so than yeah, I agree they should take some steps to make their interviews better understandable. Maybe they could also bring more guests to the studio instead of depending on calls. Sure, you can't get everyone to come but at least in those cases where the guest can do so, it would remedy the problem with unconsistent sound quality. Again, didn't mean to offend you. I just didn't know that they have this problem regurally. I thought that it's a problem only in case of this guest. So I wanted to "defend" him specifically and provide some arguments why it's not exactly his fault. Once again, I wish you all the best and have a great day.

NAFO is good at fundraising, but in reality they do very little to combat disinformation. As someone who has traveled from the US to the Ukraine front line 9 times to visit Ukrainian soldiers, donate my own body armor and use my photography to help fight disinformation, NAFO is a coalition of folks who ignored the war for 8 years. Good on this guy for admitting he is not an activist.

Most people ignored it. Can you really blame them? A low level conflict in a country they didn't know much about. I've followed Ukraine for over 2 decades. I think the language barrier was huge. Google Translate hasn't been very good until quite recently.
