Loved your video and your style - straight to work, no talking for 15 minutes at the start, just brilliant. I’m buying this pattern tonight if I can find it 😁

This is one of my favorite bags to make, but turning it is a pain with all cork exteriors, slip pockets and fleece interfacing. I've tried making extra wide zipper pockets, but that gets ridiculous. 😁 I'm going to use this method of leaving most of the lining open next time, because it looks like a dream! Thank you! ❤️

Hi Tori. Could you use the Formfuse 1600 in place of something like SF101? I'm in Aus and it's so hard to get hold of SF101
@SeamsLegit4 жыл бұрын
Formfuse 1600 is my favourite! I just purchased a 50m roll online :D

Thank you for your video! So helpful! Round or oval bottoms are so difficult for me. You given me courage to try again. May I ask what you used for the interfacing on the vinyl?

Great video! I’m trying to get the courage to make this tomorrow but am not wanting a zipper closure I want to do what you have done. But did you have to modify the pattern pieces? I’m worried lol
@SeamsLegit4 жыл бұрын
No I haven't modified the sizes of the pieces

Lovely job! Do you ever use waterproof canvas for your lining? I ask because I don't know how challenging it would be to sew the round bottom with your technique of going through the inside pocket. I prefer how that looks, but I worry the canvas would be too stiff and bulky to work well.
@SeamsLegit4 жыл бұрын
I do! I actually just found a supplier! I will male sure to do it in a video this week

How do you measure your bottom no one explains that
@SeamsLegit4 жыл бұрын
what do you mean measure the bottom? Do you mean the bottom panel? the pattern comes with it. or do you mean the oval base? The seam allowance is the other side of the interfacing you put on the bottom.
