I was 31 when this song came out and stoned out of my mind the first time I heard it. I remember thinking "what in the angelic (in a two-packs-a-day sort of way) one-hit-wonder is this"? So, sweating profusely, I wormed my way off the dance floor and made my way to the DJ. I said, "hey fella, what is this song." He replied "I don't like the cut of your jib." Blows were exchanged and I did not prevail. But I managed to catch a glimpse of the record jacket before I lost consciousness. A month later, the nurses told me I screamed for Bonnie Tyler throughout my coma. They arranged to have her visit me, but I don't remember it because I had lapsed back into a coma by the time she arrived. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the story of how make-a-wish came into being. Thank you, Bonnie Tyler!
