@minnahumble2294 Жыл бұрын
What crochet hook do you plan to use with worsted weight yarn?
@jeannakelly4174 Жыл бұрын
@@minnahumble2294 I’ll probably use a 6.00m. But it also depends on the yarn. If using something like Red Heart Super Saver, that yarn recommends a 5.5m hook. I would still use a 6.0m. Basket weave stitch tends to be a little stiff if the hook is too small. Might be a good idea to make a tension sample first to see what hook size works for you

That’s beautiful 🥰 I like think sometimes one color is just beautiful, especially with a beautiful stitch definition like this. I love your cables. I have so many wips going now to complete but I didn’t even pick my hook up for 4 months after my brother died. I’ve just been doing very simple things. I purchased 4 skeins of that Caron o go in the new ombre yarn. They consider it a 5 but I’d say 3-4 weight. I would like to make a cardigan with it. I guess they consider the fuzzies to be a 5. It is a beautiful ombre. I haven’t found a pattern in that yet. Thank you for sharing and doing the tutorial. They really help. 🥰❤️❤️❤️

Bonnie, I love your basket weave pattern & your directions are great. I'm working on the lap blanket now. I have a question: I'll be making 2 more after this, but for queen size beds. I'm wanting the blocks to be 7 stitches instead of 5. I "think" i have it figured but would love your advice. I've figured I'll need a chain of around 258. What do you think? I'll be using a 5.5mm hook
@BonnieBayCrochet12 күн бұрын
Would be hard to estimate not knowing your gauge and all, but here's a foolproof idea: crochet the width you think you will need in chains, then add several more. You can then undo any extras you will not be using. Here's a video to show you how: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJTCpX6josuhbLs
