Are you doing a sampler of some sort? You’re including everything but the kitchen sink! You make cables look so easy! After the project I’m working on I ‘lol give it a try!,

I got confused and did full doubles instead of half doubles but it got quite nicely anyways

I think with the lite color wool the pattern would be seen better.

I agree,I have a light coloured yarn I'm going to use.
@BonnieBayCrochet3 жыл бұрын
Yes, lighter colored yarns typically work better for these textures. I'm working with jewel tones and happened to have a lot of blue for the mix.

You’re patterns aren’t always so beautiful, thank you svm for these gorgeous patterns. If I wanted to go down yarn wt, like sport or? Could I just double the amt of stitches and perform the pattern twice?
@BonnieBayCrochet3 жыл бұрын
I would just crochet the squares as usual with the thinner yarn and a smaller hook. You may need to make more of these but the texture would be lovely!
@LostInAMimeBox2 жыл бұрын
I finished the first 2 squares but this one is coming out so much wider than the other 2. Like 2 inches wider. Same weighted yarn and hook size. Do you think I need a tighter tension or a smaller hook size?
@BonnieBayCrochet2 жыл бұрын
When crocheting these together in the end, most of this will self-block - as long as you have the same number of stitches on the perimeter of each square. I too was a bit concerned when designing this, but it all evened out in the end, especially due to the weight of the completed project.
