_THANK YOU 🙏 😔 🙏_ Dr. Chan, another tour of Wisley, and you are showing us new trees and plants. Wisley is an absolutely amazing place. These tours of Wisley and the nursery are the most informative of your videos. A suggestion is to take us on a tour of some of your favorite client visits. I know that could be sensitive, but would make an interesting experience? 🙏 🖖 🙏 😔 🙏

I was there today ! I might move the Deshojo to the other side of the walk to catch the evening sun. The maples in the view across the rockery are now incandescent. The bonsai, were fantastic, as ever.

Thanks so much for sharing. It was really wonderful to see that today. When I get the time I I know the first place I’m vacationing outside of my own country. You seem like a wonderful man.

Did any of the trees there get any damage from the public. Accidental or willfully?

I’m not sure where to write this? I have a deep pot where I planted some water oak acorns three years ago and forgot about them really. 8 acorn sprouted and not they are 12 to 18 inches tall all in a nice bunch that looks like a small forest area, can I bonsai a group of trees and keep them in this configuration? I love the channel!

Love your channel ❤. I have found a very small, Picea schrenkiana/ Asian Spruce. When i try to find more info on how to use this tree, i dont turn up with many answers to help. Is this type of tree not good for bonsai? Not sure if it has a more common name in the Bonsai World? Any advice on this type of sprce would be appreciated 🙏🏻

A little advice please My pine tree is only a few months old. I will try to transplant it into a slightly larger container. Can I start now? Or should I wait until spring? Thank you very much.
@jonawolf8023 Жыл бұрын
If you just plant the tree in a larger pot without doing anything else (root pruning or soil replacement), winter is a good time to plant young trees provided the roots and soil are not frozen. If it is a seedling from this year and the pot is 10cm in diameter, I would not repot it but would overwinter it in a cool place and, if possible, protected from frost.

The stands the trees are on could do with a coat of paint. Spoils the look of the plants.

GIFTED is a non-uk English word. Gift is a noun, not a verb. The verb is 'to give' and none of its tenses or participles include the word GIFTED... I give, Thou givest, He/she/it gives, They give, We give... none of them GIFT! Past tense: I gave, He/she/it gave, They gave, We gave... none of them GIFTED! Gifted is not a British verb tense and has no place in the English language.

Language changes and evolves with time. Sticking with such rigid guidelines because you want to keep your “UK English” pure is silly. Language is for communication and you clearly understood what was meant by “gifted” so it served its purpose. I believe it functions even better than using “gave” since it implies some generosity in the act of giving and that it is of value to either the giver, the receiver, or both. Such implications would be lost otherwise. Life is not a graded English exam. Communicate however you wish.
