Very cool video. One question: I accidentally cut more than 1/3 of the root while repotting in the wrong season and so my maple leaves are starting to slowly dry out. Will it still recover?
@BonsaiIligan8 жыл бұрын
Put it in complete shade to prevent dehydration. You can also defoliate the leaves because this is also one way to minimize moisture requirement. At this time the tree does not need sun. Ease it to the sun only when new shoots are starting to shoot up of about an inch or longer.

I have a blue rug juniper, they grow more horizontally than vertically. there are three branches that fit well together when I stand them up and I would like to fuse them. should I remove the bark first, or just secure them together?
@BonsaiIligan8 жыл бұрын
When I fuse I usually do not remove the barks, but my experience is only on microcarpa ficus, vitex trifolia and Premna. I do not have experience with junipers. But taking theory it is safer to fuse without debarking though it may take longer.
