Psycho-Pass is one of those anime everyone remembers. Despite the original Psycho Pass coming out a decade ago, Akane Tsunemori's journey from green newbie on the force to head detective might hit home more now than ever before.

Psycho-Pass isn't just the story of a dystopian futuristic Japan, it's an anime that hits home at some of the biggest issues with overbearing government, free will, freedom, and mental health. When a society is ruled by a singular system that's inner workings and decisions are completely unquestioned, it leaves room for corruption and unfairness, especially if the system isn't unbiased, which no system ever is. Today we're going down the rabbit hole to talk not just about Psycho-Pass, but the real world implications of a world like that, how it felt to watch it, and the emotionally journey it took me on.
