I’m watching this interview with the Scotts, and let me just say-it’s fascinating. Over time, Carlos has somehow appointed himself the unofficial protector of this set of couples, but the real stars here are clearly Martel and Melody. These two put their entire lives on display-front row, no seatbelts-for the sake of this show. Let’s be honest, reality shows may seem like ensemble casts, but even an ensemble needs headliners, and Martel and Melody are the headliners. Everyone else? Supporting cast. It’s wild to me how Carlos seems to have this thinly veiled disdain for Melody. You can practically see it dripping off him, but let’s not act like this show would be what it is without her. Maybe Carlos forgot who built the foundation while he was busy cheerleading for others. And Martel? Look, it’s unfortunate that he didn’t have the emotional regulation or the basic foresight to keep his family intact. At one point, he and Melody were an unstoppable duo. But then Martel had the bright idea that juggling two women was a sustainable life plan. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. He played himself, and unfortunately, his family paid the price. All I’m saying is, Carlos can act like he’s the maestro of this reality TV symphony, but without Martel and Melody, there’s no music. Everyone else is just here for the afterparty. Wow, this was such a refreshing video! Carlos, I really enjoyed the conversation with Scott 1.0 and Scott 2.0. It’s amazing to see their growth from Season 1 to now. Especially Latisha Scott, who has truly blossomed beautifully over the seasons. As a viewer, I’d love to see more of what they’re doing in real estate, brokerage, and building. I know the show is about love and marriage, but the dynamics of their relationships (not cheating rumors/allegations) and how they’re working to build a lasting legacy through their business endeavors are so inspiring. I really hope the show can pivot away from the negativity and focus more on these positive, uplifting aspects. Great content!
