A lovely hat story. And a cool motorcycle shop! Looking forward to that one!

Spice is incredible. I really want to have them build me a motorcycle some day but I think it would require giving up my record habit. Let's definitely visit when you come!

Wow, the hat saga! Very cool slice of life out there.

Haha! The hat saga! It's true. I wonder how this little hat story will unfold. I was telling somebody else that I feel like putting up signs, haha, but it's a very un-Japanese thing to do and I could see it making more trouble for me that not. Let's see. Thanks for the comment.

I didn't note the booger! But I loved this journey and the unique flavor that the record fair has. What a different but interesting vibe. And glad you're getting your hat back, one way or another.

Thanks @seeingathread! Appreciate you dropping by the channel. I have a feeling you'd get on like a barn of fire with all the subgenre obsure record gurus hanging around this place. Please come any time to Japan! Would love to run you around and take you to some record stores I'm sure would particularly love. Check out Organic Music and proprietor Chee Shimizu if you don't already know. Thanks for the wishes on the hat! Best from Tokyo!

Thank you so much DJ Trish for dropping by the channel and saying hello! Yep, Tape culture is alive and well in Tokyo. Have you heard about the Wim Winder's film, Perfect Days? I actually haven't seen it but it's about a Japanese tape collector and people really like it, though some of my Japanese music-loving friends have criticized for over-romanticising or charicaturizing some aspect of Japanese culture. I need to make the time to watch it myself and make up my mind, but my non-Japanese friends seem to unanimously love it. So let's see. Thanks again for watching and commenting! kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6u9c5WOaqZkfKM

Sad Himalayan hat story, Brian. However when one door closes….another opens up. Loved our Nepali meal. Been a great visit and meeting you has been one of the highlights of my return to Tokyo. Until next time, my friend.

Sorry about your hat. Did you check the Koban? Bonus Track is one of my new favorite spots in Tokyo.
@tokyorecordstyle2 ай бұрын
Didn't check the Koban but maybe I should. A hat is generally not something worth turning into the police. I was however thinking of making "Lost Hat" signs. Bit ridiculous but such huge sentimental value. And yeah, Bonus Track is super cool!

@@tokyorecordstyle Yes, make a sign. The hat must be found.
