I think he is a very kind and gentle man and the dog took advantage of it and Rose saw that this continuous situation dragged him down into being a frustrated coward, and she did not like to be with a coward, she judged him, so instead of lifting him up, she chose to see him getting weaker and weaker until she was ready to leave him/or make him leave, and the poor guy became passive- aggressive because of that, because she have chosen the dog side...frankly, I get her being disappointment by his behavior because it is not very "manly man", but she is not a generous loving person-in my opinion he deserves better.

Why get rid of the dog when the dog is not at fault but the man does not listen to his wife? My dog once bit my lodger, I told the lodger if he ever again put my dog into the position of having to bite to make the lodger pay attention then the lodger would be out of the door faster than he came in. I had been telling and telling my lodger not to do something or he would back the dog into a position where he had to bite. Like the man here.. my lodger would not listen to me and the dog bit him. Why keep a man who does not give his wife the courtesy of giving what she says credence. He only paid attention when Graham told him he was encouraging the dog's behaviour but not when his wife told him exactly the same thing.

@@terrystephens8603 Yeah I get what you mean, a lot of people go for the wrong type of dog for their situation, someone looking for a house dog to sit in a lot shouldn't get a Border Collie, Greyhound etc. I've had three Border Terriers over my lifetime and they've all been brilliant especially my last one he didn't have a growl in him was just a softy. I've had many different dogs Westie, Staf, even a Pitbul crossed with a Rhodesian Ridgeback who was just a huge giant baby.

I am 3 minutes into this and immediately the lady puts her finger on exactly what is going wrong, She says she thinks the man is encouraging bonzo and so she sides with Bonzo. I am siding with her and Bonzo. He shouts at her.. what sort of man shouts at his wife? She tells him he is doing it wrong but he takes no notice of her!!! If the man would only listen to his wife then he could have turned this around so fast. He needs to use his brain and think... what am I doing that she isn't? He is turning himself into an exciting tug toy for Bonzo and yes she is absolutely right in that he is encouraging Bonzo to be over excited but he refuses to listen to her. So now I will continue watching. ..

Having made a few comments regarding this situation, I now put it all in one place and go step by step, in this one rather long post, through what I see going on between this couple, in the hope that the people who have been so against Rosa will hopefully THINK before judging and really look at this relationship with better insight...... Rosa’s whole body language throughout, is calm and non-confrontational, her voice is consistently gentle, both with Jason and Bonzo. Jason is the one leaping about like crazy and shouting at the dog a great deal. Next Rosa talks to Graham and as she does Jason gives her such a disdainful look. Then Jason says they argue and he shouts at Rosa!!. He says she intervenes with the dog, which tells us she does help him, but she does not do it like he wants her to even though the dog obeys her. Then, he tells her what she should say and do, that she should tell the dog off.. which would absolutely be the WRONG thing to do, because as soon as she intervenes, the dog is well behaved and IF she told Bonzo off then she would be punishing the dogs GOOD behaviour. Jason is just pissed off that Rosa will not obey his bossy, coercively controlling and incorrect commands. Then he rudely speaks for them both and says WE cannot pinpoint what the problem is !!!!!!!!!!!!! but then he does correct himself by stating, with a sneering contempt for Rosa’s opinion,.. !Rosa THINKS she knows what the problem is.. The truth is that he refuses to consider that Rosa is correct, that she absolutely does know exactly what the problem is, has been trying to explain it to Jason but he has such little respect for her that he will not listen to her. Rosa is by now, seemingly absolutely at the end of her tether with Jason for being so arrogantly bossy, for demeaning her and for refusing to even consider that she is right and Rosa says.. “it won’t be the dog that goes”. I applaud her for sticking up for herself and her dog against such an unempathetic man who does not have the morality to even see he is in the wrong let alone the balls to admit it. Then Jason throws a childish strop and marches out of the room lol. He is now fully in.. “poor little me” pathetic mode. Furthermore, it has not even crossed Jason’s mind to wonder how Rosa can be in control of Bonzo and he can’t, nor to watch Rosa to learn from her. Rosa has the patience of a saint with this bloke who shows her such little respect. Then in comes Graham…. At lo and behold he gets Jason to copy what Rosa does. Jason gives Graham the respect that he has been too .. what? Dumb? Arrogant? to give to his long-suffering partner, listens to Graham and problem almost instantly solved and Graham again achieves miracle worker status. Yey Go Graham xx Then, so many people here including yourself instantly judge and says that Jason deserves better than a partner like Rosa. I, on the other hand wonder why on earth does Rosa want to be with this self-satisfied, pompous,controlling man? Rosa and her dog are absolutely lovely. Jason has a great deal of self-improvement to work on and I hope he will gain some insight into his dreadful demeanor towards Rosa. He should apologise to her abjectly but I very much doubt that he could even see the necessity for that

Poor Rosa, being vilified for putting her dog first. My dogs come first too because they can't fend for themselves. Help from Graeme has fixed the problem and dear little Bonzo is now happy. Now I know she just did not say it wouldn’t be the dog that goes then straight after making comment giving her partner of over 10years the side eye🙄🤦🏾‍♀️. She pretty much placed the blame on her partner rather than take her share of the responsibility by not putting her dog in his place. If my partner had said that to me and also happily placed blame on me I’d be out that door. How detached from reality must she be to side with her dog rather than be like we need to resolve this situation quick as the dogs behaviour is tearing the relationship apart. She just doesn’t seem bothered about saving the relationship. That’s quite sad.

Jason is 100% to blame for the dogs behaviour and Rosa has tried to teach him how to deal with Bonzo but Jason does not give her the respect of listening to her.
