That was a pleasure in the eyes to see, your horse is so much in tune with you, you have great balance and you two make a great team! Well done!

i do release, there are many different styles, i just prefer to move my hands ever so slightly and to keep my body up and out of boo's way as it is what works best for us, i've been riding this horse for almost 3 years now, this is what works for us!

she responds to that cue when riding tackless (as kind of an emergency stop button) so sometimes i do it when going from trot to halt :)

Bit less bridles can put a lot of pressure on the horses nose. Lauren is a great rider so she is keeping good contact without pulling on Boo's nose.

While we don't jump as high, my horse likes to rush his jumps too! As soon as I point him at a jump he says "I got this!" and charges. While I do wish he would listen a little better I do love his enthusiasm. You two really look great & I love that you use a bitless bridle :)

Some people are like “She needs to put her leg behind the girth” Well my coach told me to put my leg more forward and it made such an amazing difference! Don’t assume things people, maybe her trainer told her to do it, maybe her horse doesn’t respond to the leg farther back....

***** So you keep yourv eels down and you push yourself up to the gait or something of the horses legs?
@kalyanapengilly83878 жыл бұрын
Basically every time the horses outside leg goes forward, that's your cue to rise.
@sydneypatmore21778 жыл бұрын
You shouldn't have to force yourself to rise. Do sitting trot and then once you feel as if he's pushing up out of the saddle rise.

Question: When did you do your first jump? What age?
@faye51127 жыл бұрын
Lillana Torris The first time i jumped i was 4 years old and there was a cross pole set up in the arena and my Lil welsh pony was meant to be just cantering but since i was young and i couldn't control very well 😅 he suddenly turned and jumped it and i did a jumping position...well i did get my jumping position if falling forward onto my ponies neck and cant sit up counts😌 But don't worry im way better now
@pureequestrian57006 жыл бұрын
I was 9, a lesson pony and I were trotting through the woods and there was a log ahead. We took it. That was the first jump that I ever did and I loved it!
@pureequestrian57006 жыл бұрын
Then I started jumping cavaletti and tiny crossrails in lessons. Eventually I started jumping higher and learning to measure strides in a course and all that stuff, ending up with a huge ribbon wall from countless jumper shows and hunter paces!

@hailswinter718710 жыл бұрын
I bet she's pretty smooth cantering and trotting. But when she is faced with the jump she goes faster so that she has enough speed to make it over.
@101jumpergirl10110 жыл бұрын
Hailey and Cade I used to ride a pony like that
@hailswinter718710 жыл бұрын
***** yeah most horses do. I don't want to say horses rush fences but they go a little faster to get enough speed to make it over. GezzCanezz's pony Spyro does it too
@101jumpergirl10110 жыл бұрын
Hailey and Cade yeah it's common, they just gather themselves up lol, the last two I rode haven't gone faster towards the jump
@hailswinter718710 жыл бұрын
Yeah exactly! Some horses have enough speed with their normal canter or trot that they know they are going to make it over the jump but then others don't
