My favorite counter to an underhook is to quickly and with max power step in front using my free hand to push up on my overhook hand and back arch resulting in a very tight head and arm, once I hit the mat. Some people will use this same type of action to do a lateral drop but I prefer to use my free hand to elevate my trapped hand vice throwing my free hand under the far armpit.

A guy with arm in arm control never has to push! What is this idiocy? He must pull the guy towards him by raising his arm! And by doing that, as he is inside an arc of a circle, it feels like a two-blade, and the guy who is controlled, finds himself almost on tiptoe! And if the guy who is controlled recoons, he will be in both an unstable and passive position!
