Hi, I live in England and I actually got interested in braiding 2 years ago but I ended up donating my hair for the Little Princess Trust. Because of that I started practicing on my niece so I can never forget how to braid but also evolve my skills. Not to brag but every time she went to a birthday party she got loads of compliments, and that is because I would watch your videos and then go on to practice on her. When I was a little girl, my mother would braid my hair almost everyday. She loved to do my hair in all kinds of ways, and I always felt pretty when she did. However, she died when I was seven years old, so she never got the chance to teach me to braid my own hair. It was in 2014/2015, well into my 20s, when I started watching your videos and devoted the time to really learn for myself. Now that I can braid my own hair, I feel closer to my mother, and I look forward to braiding my own daughter's hair, and teaching her, when she's older. It was something I felt was lost and you helped me find it. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart and congratulations on your book!

This is really wonderful, congratulations!!! I didn't know how to braid for years, and then I found your channel probably four years ago. I started doing braids nonstop, wearing one every day. Then a few months back I shaved my hair entirely off- but lucky for me I've married a longhaired werewolf-esque man and he lets me do braids. The first day we met irl (7 year long distance best friends) he let me do a ragnar braid on him that I'd been practicing in anticipation. I told him you got a book and he's as excited as I am so we'll definitely get a copy!

Believe me I've thought about doing a lot more. I'm limited mostly in who I can use as a model in videos. There's two short haired models in the book though, so several short haired style options! And I'll try harder to bribe more short haired friends to sit for videos.
