First one of Sean's I've seen. I don't usually bother watching input from YT reference writing /publishing 'hacks'. I'm encouraged to see our younger writers/ (now indy entrepreneurs) Publishers, respecting our craft. Many do not. One thing I've come to learn. Best Seller sure doesn't mean Best Written.

Hey Sean, I used your link to sign up for Book Bolt lifetime sub. I made my first book using a new 12.9" iPad Pro. When I try to upload it into KDP, I get to the end, it says “successfully uploaded” and about 30 seconds later errors. The error says I need to adjust my screen to 1200x600 and I couldn’t find anything on the iPad to allow for that. I know iPads work off of a cellular apps while computers work off their own platforms. Are you aware of this being a problem?

Preview is required to approve your book prior to publication and Preview does have a screen dimension requirement. I have two screens, one is turned to be tall and skinny and when I forget to move the browser to the normal screen I get the same error.

Does it include crossword puzzles? If so, how does that work, you just provide the words?

yes, you upload the list of all words in a .csv document. You select the max amount of words per puzzle, margins, etc... the problems I found are: the clue words are not displayed correctly, if you need to edit any word of the list or fix any issue with one puzzle you need to do all over again (Upload the full list, enter all details, etc..). Not worth it in my opinion.

What I don't understand is that you've created a puzzle book, then what happens, someone on Amazon likes your book, wants to buy it, but is it printed? If it isn't, don't they need to wait a big bunch of time for the printers to print it first and then to ship it?

its printed and shipped by Amazon when someone buys it, that is what KDP means. You will get paid royalties once all the costs of productions are taken away
