I hope you enjoy Engines of Empire! I moved directly to Engines of Chaos, so I’m reading it right now. The books have multiple points of view, intriguing world building, political intrigue, interesting magic, family bonds, found family, animal companion, …. just lots to love that all really worked for me.

I just recently hauled the blood gift duology by NE Davenport highly recommend these books it’s sci-fi/fantasy with a bit of a war college atmosphere forbidden blood magic, an emperor bent on world domination and old world gods looking for a way back and a fiery FMC!!

I just find it hilarious that you have to hold your mike karaoke style because it is not a very good mike hahaha. Yay SOSFLN is so GOOOOOOOOODDDDDDD. And In the Lives of Puppets was better than Under the Whispering Door but not the full magic that was House in the Cerulean Sea.
