I took the liberty of commenting on this book Homelands. The book is an accurate description of events over a long period of time. In every country there are several authorities that are loyal to the government. When the regime changes, these people are loyal to the new government. That's the problem with democracy.

That's the conundrum with human beings. They can choose and decide. When you can't decide or don't choose you are in fact stuck with the same situation.

Yes, of course this is just a naive view of human political history. When you know well the psychology of a person, you know a different picture of people's life. The basis of human psychology is vendetta.@@Bebe-ch8zk

@@Bebe-ch8zk Hubris in people has an effect on the decline of intellect. The only solution for Europe is the education of a new generation. This is my reason for favoring Oxford University.
