FKA T I read your response to Jerry & find it a bit condescending. You don’t know Jerry’s situation. Maybe being an elder who has difficulty understanding the complexity or hidden messages of the Bible. Maybe an inability to process something quickly as a number of people have. My sister reads something & does not process it as quickly as most. He was showing his appreciation for someone who was giving him help. I saw Jerry’s gratefulness for the revelation he just received.

@@mitchellc4 John 4: 25, 26 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He. ” Jesus did affirm that He was the Son of God and the one prophesied about by Isaiah and the other prophets of the OT. This is just one of those instances. There are also a couple of other verses here in John which solidify that point: "But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.” Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will." John 5:17-21 The last part seems to reference Lazarus' death and resurrection, as well as freedom from spiritual death. Then they said to Him, “Where is Your "Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.” John 8:19 NKJV "Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:58 Jesus is eternal. Now to answer your question about Jesus's physical death, most Christians believe in dyophysitism. This is one area us Protestants agree fully with Roman Catholics: on the nature of Christ, established at the Council of Chalcedon in 451 AD. Dyophysitism is the belief that Jesus was both fully divine (being the Son of God) and fully human (being the son of a virgin, aka The Son of Man) without mixing or blending. Hypostases: one God in three persons, with Jesus being The Son: God and man. Therefore Jesus was not a separate god or demi-god. The two natures solved the theological problem of Jesus's death as God cannot be physically killed but humanity can, and this accounts for His resurrection as well as humans can't resurrect themselves. We could argue until the cows come home on whether Jesus is the Christ (I believe He is). But to say He never claimed He was the Son of God is false.
@mish3754 жыл бұрын
@@mitchellc4 You said Jesus never claimed to be God and that because Jesus died he cannot be God which isn't what Christians believe. As I said, Hypostases (One God in Three Forms) is what Christians believe in. That's what I responded to.

You should be reading the Bible for yourself. How do you know this channel is telling the truth? I found out some of their beliefs are wrong. Search out “what is wrong with the Bible Project” you’ll understand more. Point is we all MUST read the Bible for ourselves. Never just take anyone else’s word for what they say the Bible says. Even if it’s a very well made video with a great narrator and cool visuals. Satan is the best liar and deceiver and he can and does use anyone . Usually pride is how he gets us. Pride is a very deadly sin. It’s taken down many of so called Gods ppl. Be very careful and question EVERYTHING except the word of God.

@LisaNYC true, we are called to discern and study scripture for ourselves. Paul encourages the body of Christ to take what is good and discard whatever is not usefull. The Holy Spirit is the ultimate teacher, helper reminder and guide. As we listen we allow Him to filter that which we hear

Yes - very cool - and I haven't found anything Biblically inaccurate either. However, I do get a check in my spirit when he mentions "Cosmic" twice. I'm sure we can all agree that's New Age dialog. And the gentlemen whose narrating - clearly sounds gay. So if you're going to watch more of these videos be aware of what "truths" they might be peddling. Just a word of wisdom from someone whose seen A LOT of wolves in sheep's clothing through the years. Again, I don't see this ministry peddling any "untruths" at this time - we just need to be on our toes watching and making sure everything lines up with the Word of God and not worldly or New Age principles.

It's because of Ezekiel that I named my first beautiful puppy many years ago. He was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and I had to have him put down ON THE DAY of his 8th Birthday because of congestive heart failure :( It was devastating. I didn't understand much about Ezekiel when I named him. But I've learnt a lot over the years since. God gave me the verse "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you" ~ Ezekiel 36:26 just after my Ezekiel was put to sleep. I was stunned that it was so often bringing up things that spoke to me, or related to other things going on in my life, or my friends and family around me. AND my loving dog, and his heart that was not able to keep him alive. It gave me hope and comfort, during my times of grief. It also sparked an interested in what else the book of Ezekiel had to say, and what it all meant. And I think it's something that might continue weighing on my heart at times.

One thing I've gotten from your series of old testament videos is the common thread of man's downward depravity throughout history and comparing it to modern day events in our country, the United States. As a country, we have turned from God, and now we see generational consequences from that turning, a progression that will continue unless there is true revival. The church alone is responsible for both the depravity and for the possible change in direction. God is mercy, love and forgiveness... He's also just, jealous and almighty. He cannot draw a church to Himself that is luke warm... and we are. Thank you Bible Project for what you're doing.

These videos have literally saved my soul in so many ways I look to them for inspiration in times of sadness and sorrow and times of happiness or when I'm struggling with a problem I'm blessed to have found them. I also wanted to hit on the world is kind of going through this particular book right now, you know? How everybody was worshiping artists, movie stars, basketball ,football players and we lost touch with religion and slipped away from God and what is right. Now we have half the United States that want to take God out of everything they don't want us to teach our children about God. They don't want to teach God in School. What disturbs me the most is our country was founded on religion we all used to say in school every morning one nation under God. We have god-given rights and no man can take away. Yet it does not seize them from trying they want to completely remove the Bible out of our history classes but Jesus was a real man he done amazing things in his life that's a real story why isn't that taught in school? John the Baptist paved the way for Jesus that's a true story why isn't it taught in school? Hannah gave birth to a baby in her very old age and it was a wonderful miraculous thing why isn't that taught in school? And my favorite story of all time three men crossed the desert to watch the King of Kings be born by following a star why isn't that taught School? These are all history lessons. The worlds salvation is at a state if we don't stand up and fight to have these things put back in school. If we don't fight to stay one nation under God, evil will consume our children they will pollute their minds. I mean you already see it with females talking about a w.a.p antifa and black lives matter teaching our children if you don't like the way something is pitch a fit, be violent and steal things while burning cities down. The end of days are upon us. If we don't do something to take back our right and our freedom of religion and demand that our children know God and no one interferes. The fight might be hard but it is so worth it because our children will not go to heaven. I apologize for sounding gloomy but please stand up for what is right, stand up for your children and most importantly stand up for the Father the son and the holy ghost. I love you all

After some study of Isaiah, Psalms 83, Daniel and Revelations as well as looking at the current events taking place in Israel from 1948 until now you will plainly see that his prophecies are more real than you are currently able to see. I don't always agree with interpretations but I don't think anyone can deny the beauty of these videos, and how helpful they are in laying things out

I've heard the "Ezekiel 38-39 War" btwn Israel and Russia/Iran/Others is about to happen. He doesn't even mention this interpretation. The view that Rosh isn't Russia is relatively new I think. There was a people up there with that name back a few thousand years ago. He thinks it's just referring to all the nations, but Ezekiel mentions specific places.

I have to agree with you-I’m no scholar-but even I can see how things are lining up-and the more I look the more obvious it becomes-this next war where Russia and others attack and fall on the hills of Jerusalem is key for the following 7 years, the peace agreement and the forming of the feet-iron & clay-the next form of government.

Thank you so much for this! I have been "struggling" through Ezekiel for several months. :)

I'm reading Ezekiel right now and it helps me understand history repeats itself. Priests have fallen for idolatry and are leading people astray in the name of "peace". People have turned away from God. We are testing God's patience; it won't end well for many when he decides enough is enough.

I came to see more detail on the River spoke of in Ezekiel 48 and instead got a great over view of the whole book. The drawstrings are wonderful and explanation is wonderful. Thank you for the video!

It's amazing the fact that many books in the bible brings the same idea of new life and no more evil (humanity restored) despite of the diferences of time, place and culture they were written

Thank you. I’ve read Ezekiel many times over the years, but I wanted to dig deeper. These two overview videos of Ezekiel have helped me not only to see the big picture but also illuminated the meaning of the details in the book. Along with a good study Bible, the videos have helped me to to see how the book of Ezekiel “fits” in God’s great plan for humanity and all creation, the plan that ultimately leads to Jesus Christ. The visions and symbolic words and “sign acts” are coming alive for me now; that’s pretty thrilling. Again, thank you and God bless all of you in this ministry.

Because of their visual clarity (they're amazing - well done) and ease of understanding, what would be very helpful is for you to develop Bible study discussion material related to them for use in Bible study home/church groups... They're so helpful, thank you.

Damn, studying into the Old Testament Prophets, they were all truly genius. But my man Ezekiel took it to a whole different level. Truly a Mad Genius. Especially with his metaphorical acts for the future of the nations. What a historical figure.

Am I the only one who thinks ezekial was insane, I mean cooking food over pooh, cutting off his hair and chopping it with a sword. I prefer Jesus, Elijah,Jeremiah, job, ihsiah.🕊️🌹
@tropsd2 жыл бұрын
@@scottspencer6899 Ezekiel would have certainly been mentally insane if he was doing those things for no reason, but since they were commands from God, following through with them was just about the sanest and most sensible thing a person could do in his situation. Feel free to prefer learning about certain people over another but do not consider Ezekiel in the wrong for obeying Yahweh.
