I agree with that, I think. But I'm having a hard time figuring out when we get the mercy and when we get the judgment. Both seem to be in evidence in the words of Jesus.

It's not more powerful it is more gracious. God choosing to show mercy to rebellious creatures like us is a voluntary act on His part. His justice and holy wrath on the unrepentant is just as powerful as His mercy on His children. But His mercy is more splendid, especially to the recipient of it. Roman's 9:15 " I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion."

This story in the Bible always reminds me of myself of when we humans take advantage of Gods love or when he gives us gifts. Just like how God doesn’t punish us to make us hurt but for us to learn. If you disobeyed your father you are given a time out or punished with chores. just like how the north and the south are both going to get punished because they went against our father God. This shows us we have to obey God and how God still loves us even though we fall short every time. The promise he made to Abraham shows us that God needs to judge and punish us for him to give love so we understand Gods laws and rules for us to truly know God. Please continue to praise and love God if there are hardships in your life for God let’s everything happen for a reason.❤

I was 16 pregnant in Las Vegas without my parents, God came to me in a dream that my first born would be a boy, I saw exactly what he would look like. I knew nothing of God and came from descendants of witches. My son was born and I felt for the first time in my life a touch of Gods love. Then I looked up Bible names and God showed me the name Andrew and Micha for the middle name. My sons last name is also in the Bible but I wont share it do to privacy reasons. My son saved my life in a time where pimps were trying to recruit me, and predators were lurking everywhere. 10 years later I gave my life to Jesus. So much more to my testimony on Gods miracles, love and grace. I believe sons named after biblical prophets were created for greatness through Yeshua and the Holy Spirit to help spread the gospel and Gods messages to mankind.
