I think Grover's hunch is he thinks Clarisse did the theft. Which still leaves Luke's reveal to be at the end. But gives new viewers a red herring to believe. XD

By far the best episode in the series so far. I really enjoy being able to see the growth in the actors in each episode and the fact that the series is written in a way that allows the actors to showcase their abilities! Another thought to note, I think the creators are making changes that really drilling the concept of "family " in each episode so that it will create greater confliction and understanding when Luke is revealed as the Thief. Making him more of the moral gray character he actually is. I have seen a few people complain about some of these changes in the show vs the books such as the reputation of "the gods are not all good". However, I think we need to keep in mind the book was Percy's POV so it was easier to get these messages across to the reader. The show is not perfect but it is successfully conveying these messages/themes all while sticking to the source material.

I agree!! I think they are bulding the 5 season (book) arc really well with this theme. I really don't understand why people would be annoyed at this

the only thing that actually disappointed me was seeing Percy soaked. But I really loved the episode

I actually like that he was soaked because when they got out of the water during the tunnel scene he said that he was still figuring everything out. It makes sense that he still can’t really control water like that, it will be much cooler in the later episodes when he finally stays dry

honestly my most favorite episode so far! i had enough of people moaning about losses frm the books, like the fates! and percy being a fugitive etc~!!! JUST LET IT COOK MAN!!! i am loving the series so far, but right now i'm just worried is the fandom collectively is strong enough to push for a season 2. there haven't been any announcements yet from disney, and they just keep cancelling shows left and right, and i couldn't sleep last night thinking this is our first and last push for the actual PJO on screen universe.

Fingers crossed. I'm optimistic that the show has a strong enough following to make season 2 possible. They also just opened a PJO exhibit at Disneyworld, so Disney seems to have a lot of faith in the show!

I was hoping for the mechanical spiders, since they are a major fear for Annabeth as a child of Athena. Also the cameras to Olympus were such a funny part of the book, but I see how that wouldn’t entirely fit the more serious vibe of the show.
