Riptide in the book is supposed to be a $2 janky bic looking pen 😭 the pen in the movie is also silly cause it’s a clicking pen and the blade comes out where his thumb would be.. which is very dangerous for his hand cause celestial bronze would definitely cut his thumb off, vs in the book and the show it has a cap that serves as a sheath !

Yea, I remember it being a cap pen not a click, and jankie looking haha. Still enjoyed the movie one, but I'm sure this one will grow on me!

Glad you're enjoying the series so far! Very excited to see more of your content 5:18 I honestly agree with you about the pen sword... I mean, this version of the pen is way more loyal to the books and I love it, but I still think that the movie version of it seemed more cooler! Although it didn't shine as it should in the sword form but, hey, the movies were already trash so, we need to keep the few good things that they managed to make 7:47 fr tho, the journey to becoming the GOAT!
