Book Review: The Sun and The Star by Rick Riordan & Mark Oshiro

The Sun and The Star is one of the most recent Riordanverse books we have. I’d also say it’s one of the most unique ones because this time, Rick isn’t alone in writing this book and instead, he’s joined by another author named Mark Oshiro. In this video, I’ll review and give my thoughts on this book.

I just finished The Sun and the Star yesterday, gotta say I rate it 4/5 stars The whole Will not liking the Underworld because it’s gloomy and death, is actually a very good thing about this book. Will learning to accept that the Underworld isn’t bad just because of Death. Will not being able to perform normally without sunlight makes sense, since he’s father is Apollo. I loved the poetic part about Nico leaving behind his trauma and accepting it so he can grow. I loved this book, but I can see why you don’t like it as much ❤

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :))) It's nice to see another perspective of things. Like I mentioned in my video, I don't hate this book. I have to credit some great moments that Mark and Rick managed to give us but I was pretty underwhelmed with it because I had so much more expectations for it. Great to hear that you liked it though!
