Couldn’t agree with your momma more…. I read The Great Alone almost 5 years ago and STILL think about it. It was sooooo great. I am super close with my mom (she’s my bestie!) and the relationship between Lennie (the MC) and her mom was just so sweet & heartfelt. That may be one of the top reasons I enjoyed it. I think you’d like it :))
