I love your videos!! You should for sure start reading/reviewing books for yourself, and not just the popular ones everyone's buzzing about. Personally I think those videos would be more interesting, since everyone and their mother reviews the same books haha! I highly recommend The Accident Season by Moïra Fowley-Doyle! I literally read this book in about 6 hours. I could not put it down! I am now onto The Graces by Laure Eve to continue with the dark witchy vibe. These two books have sucked me in completely!

Yay! I just finished Red Rising last week. I read the first couple of pages a while back and absolutely hated the writing style but decided to try again. I immediately read the entire book in one day and I'm now devouring the second as well! These books will be movies and sometimes it felt like I was reading a script, in a totally good way. I will be picking up Dark Matter and Illuminae now as well since I've been eyeing them for some time.

I also read Illuminae over the past few days! All of my family was over for Thanksgiving and they had football on the entire time so I had lots of time to read and I couldn't stop reading Illuminae. About 200 pages into Gemina

I finished Gemina a couple weeks ago and I loved it! I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as the first book since it was a companion book but it was great! I'm glad you enjoyed the first book and I can't wait to hear what you think of Gemina! Dark Matter sounds really interesting!

I read The Tempest in uni and really enojyed it. I'd love to pick that one up since I recently finished reading and reviewing my first Atwood, The Handmaid's Tale. Really enjoyed her writing. I, too, picked up Fantastic Beasts and Dark Matter!

I just read the golden door by emily rodda and it's like a classic kind of quest story about a boy who goes to find his brothers who went to fight monsters. really short but good. and if you've never really the thief by Megan Whalen Turner and it is* a classic

yes i agree! i loved the structure; something so non-linear always has the potential to be a mess but it worked so perfectly for the story. and the ending!

If you're in the sci-fi mood you should DEFINITELY check out 'The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet' by Becky Chambers. I recently read it and it's beautifully diverse and also has some actual science that is easy to understand but really enhances the story. Such a great read!!

If you have never read any Margaret Atwood I highly, HIGHLY recommend her MaddAddam trilogy. It starts with the book Oryx and Crake. It's a kind of sci-fi, post-apocalyptic saga. It's soo good. Also, The Handmaid's Tail is a classic dystopian novel by Atwood. She's my favorite author, so I could go on, but I think you would enjoy these recommendations based on your taste!

I hate it when they just put "reviews" on a book cover and nothing about the story. The Amber Chronicles is an old series, like from the 70s or earlier for some of them. My generation loved them but I don't know about your generation. I hope you do. They are classics. BTW, I enjoy your channel despite our differences in age.
