Honestly yes to becoming monsters when free books are around, and the best time for that is Halloween. I used to live near a house that would get hundreds of used books by donation and a library even got in on it for people to take as many books that they found and liked in one of their many boxes of books. I wanted to be the lady that started that in that neighborhood when I grew up and it is still a goal lol.

Found Family is one of my most beloved tropes of all time, so to hear that you love it so much too makes me happy (I knew you had good taste). And I also just recently read the Six of Crows duology, am currently readin the Shadow and Bone series so I can get to King of Scars, and am also currently reading the Raven Cycle (I normally try to read one series at a time, this isn't normal for me). Six of Crows is among my all-time favorite series and I can't express how much I love it and how blessed I feel to keep finding such good books after so long of lackluster reads for me. Also, did you hear about the new collector's edition of Crooked Kingdom?!! I'm so glad I was too broke to buy a copy of Crooked Kingdom while I was reading it (I have Six of Crows, though) because this edition looks beautiful and has beautiful art of our Crows and it's so amazing and is coming out September 5th!
