“Just read the back. You basically read the book.” 😂 I’m feeling inspired to unhaul some books!

I think the audiobook of Say Nothing is worth a shot! I already had some knowledge about the topic going in and also I generally enjoy narrators with real accents, so I got into it fast, but it did get me through a crowded plane ride.

I love an unhaul! I really enjoyed Butcher and Blackbird, but I do love trashy dark romance.

I love Dune, but the idea of someone reading it out loud to me is mega ICK. Even if they weren't an ex 😂

Thanks for the un-haul insights. As a writer its helpful to know why people don't want to read a book as much as why they do. I will confess, my literary skills don't equip me to deal with eick problem. 😅

Please don't feel guilty for letting go of books. The choices of others are their own, as are yours. I have read books because of hype, and found it only works out if the reader and I have similar tastes. The lit fic to horror happened to me, too! I have 2 boxes of books to turn in for credit at my used book store. There were a few twinges of guilt when choosing them, but the great thing is, they are completely forgotten, and there's more room for new books. They were kind of a burden, knowing I really didn't want to read them. Would love to see your sweet dogs, though. 🐾 Vivian

@@bookinhand_ I have a couple YA books that shape now that I think of it, but they are like the mini version of that haha They are the Princess Tales series by Gail Carson Levine, this first book is The Fairy’s Mistake. Go look it up and you’ll see what I mean haha

Had the same experience with Wolf Hall, I'm sure it's great, but I will never get to find out because I can't see myself trying to get through it again. Paper palace and Remarkably Bright Creatures I DNFed with prejudice though.

Life is too short, & there are so many books, that’s it’s not worth cluttering limited shelf space with ones that don’t intrigue or make you excited to crack their covers! I read Essex Serpent but it was kind of a slog to get through.
