Reagan! Foolish Hearts is not that drama filled actually even though the synopsis might lead you to think so. It ended up being quite cute and fluffy and a lot of laugh out loud funny moments that hardly ever happens to me in books.

The Maximum Ride series has been sitting on my shelf for years. I loved the first book when I read it in middle school, really liked the second book, and meant to read the rest. I'm going to keep and re-read the first book, but I've only kept the rest of the books because of how much I loved the first. I know I either have to read them all, or unhaul.

I did the same recently and sold some books and gave the rest to my local library. It's a really good feeling to give them to people who will enjoy them while they just stood in my shelf to get duty way too long

I'm actually reading The Library at Mount Char right now :) And yeah, I had to really push myself to keep going. I got to page 75 and STILL had no idea what was going on. I'm most of the way through it now, and while it still makes no sense, I'm keeping going because I want to see how it all ties up at the end! The writing and the story is really intriguing at this point.

I just got rid of over half of my books when I moved from Chicago to NYC. It was so hard! Especially the books I've had since childhood. :( If you're looking for places to donate books in Chicago, Open Books is one of the best/best known. I also recommend low-income CPS schools, libraries in lower income neighborhoods, and nursing homes! I don't want to bombard you because moving is hard but if you'd like specific recommendations/connections, I'm happy to help. I worked in youth services/non-profit for 7 years in Chicago so can give some direction. :) Best of luck with your move!

Phaedra Alwell I live in the states and at any Walmart you can get them. They are not described as bookshelves but people use them that way. They can range from 4 high to only 1 length ways, to 4 high to 2 - 3 length ways.

I’ve been watching your videos for a while to get ideas for books to purchase for my middle school classroom and a lot of my kids do love them! This may be a long shot but if you ever consider donating books to a middle school I would be forever grateful of you chose maybe an actual teacher to donate to. It doesn’t have to be me but I know a lot of teachers appreciate book donations for their classroom libraries. Buying books gets expensive!

This has probably been one of the most stressful videos I’ve ever watched of yours. Some of them I saw coming but others I was just in complete shock. Like the Lunar Chronicles?? Like damn. But it’s ok. I respect your decision. I’m actually debating to even buy Emergency Contact because you didn’t enjoy it and I’m not sure I will. But I am a bigger fan of contemporaries than you are.
