Hi Helen, when I feel I'm in a reading slump rereading favorite books or new books by authors I've read and liked in the past helps, good luck getting your mojo back, something tells me a new favorite is just around the corner! ^_^

Thank you! Since creating this video, I started reading Steinbeck’s East of Eden and sure enough, reading mojo is back! 🙌 🥳

I was going to make a recommendation but then saw your updated commentary that Steinbeck has worked for you - however, I shall still make a recommendation - Grief is the Thing with Feathers by Max Porter - not a giggle a minute but incredibly engaging (in my opinion).

I also sent a request on Goodreads to you, I tried to send a message to go with it but for some reason my 'phone, or more likely just me, can't do it.

@@willchambers8065 wonderful. Thanks for that recommendation. My library has this book! I’ll check it out. I’ve accepted your Goodreads request too. Have a great weekend!

When I'm in a slump, I usually go to the library and see if anything grabs me. I'll end up checking out 6-8 books that I know nothing about. I'll come home and read a few pages in each book to see if anything grabs me. I don't know why but I always tend to find something that gets me out of a slump.

Fantastic idea! Well, any idea that gets me visiting a library is a good one. 🤣
