This reminds me of how when I was younger I wanted to be a bookbinder after reading the inkheart trilogy! I remember I even covered some notebooks with construction paper and fixed some old dictionaries after being inspired by that series 😂

This is really cool. I wanted to do this but I didn't have much, I just tinted some bond papers with coffee, asked my grandma to help me sew it together and used a folder as the book cover. It wasn't the best but I'm sure as hell proud of it:)

5:02 What does uploading fanfic have to do with book binding?
@toffeebiscuits3 жыл бұрын
i think they mean uploading it to a publishing service's website to get it printed? the legality of fanfic is tricky and in order to be safe, youre not supposed to make a profit from it - paying for a service like that would mean they would get the money from it. (they're also mentioning it in the first place because bookbinding tiktok is drowning (/lh) in people doing fanfic bindings- especially harry potter lmao)

A signature is a collection of pages usually folded together and stitched. Most are 5-7 pages thick. You stitch those together to make a book.
