I bought a screen protector for my iPad from PenTips and it's a matte screen so I can read outside without the glare. What's great about it is that it is removable (unlike Paperlike) so I can have the shiny screen when I want to as well. It's my alternative to my Kindle when I want to minimize the number of devices for traveling.
