While moving is stressful for cats, they‘ll get over it quite quickly (we moved several times with ours, even to a different country and as long as we kept them close, and they had their favorite beds, litter box, food dishes and - most importantly - us around them, they were right as rain.). Good luck with your move to York! York is my favourite city too. I've visited there so many times and I've never got tired of looking around all of its landmarks. BTW when you're in Yorkshire, you might like to visit Hebden Bridge, it's this lovely little artsy bohemian town in West Yorkshire, in Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath country (Heptonstall and Mytholmroyd are really close to it). It's not too far away from Haworth either. There are some lovely bookshops and independent shops in Hebden Bridge, as well as cafes, and lovely walks down the canal and up into the Calderdale valley. There's also a National Trust area there called Hardcastle Crags 📚

We love hairy maclary. My first book was the very hungry caterpillar, I remember finishing it in my bedroom then running to my parents and reading it to them again. You can tell I would be a book freak by the fact I still have that copy and it still looks new haha
