What an interesting way to discuss the value of older books, I love your take on this and how you put this together. Sometimes I find it hard to read older books because it can show casual intolerance/isms or language that we just wouldn't use today. I find this hardest in modern classics or 'important' works, but it's good to remember that I'm seeing it from today's perspective, not the time in which it's written. It's good to have a reminder that there is value in seeing a window into the time, even if not all of what's shown is good! Always love your videos, Berna!

Thank you!! I really liked the research I did for this one. I think supressing our sometimes shameful past can bring more harm since we are very liable to make some mistakes...
