Can you talk about how you registered your company? and what type of company is best for bookkeeping? I'm assuming you created an LLC prior to doing bookkeeping work. Also did you buy any business insurance just in case you make any errors and avoid liability

You will need to register your LLC with your individual state. I started as a single member LLC, and this year I elected to be taxed as an S corporation. I have E&O insurance.
