YES!! It's been awhile since I curled up with a good fiction book but my team does a lot of reading and it shows in their writing!

Excellent advice! I also find it useful to get up and away from the writing if I'm feeling stuck. A short break usually makes me look at what I've written with fresh eyes so I can finally see what I need to write next. It's simple, but I find it to be powerful.🙂

That long line at a book event is still a dream of mine...think that would be really cool. Way to go, Linda! I agree about the "Unique" aspect. I get so tired of those already told stories too. The ones that stand out to me are the ones that are unique to the author. Like, Delgado--a former FBI agent?! Whaaat?! That's awesome!
