I really like how the proposition can be devised around a compelling question… the answer of which can be found in the book! I’m SO impressed with the conversion rate of your “7 Steps.”! My father was a lawyer, and in many ways he and I have the same issues. Both artists and lawyers need to be subtle in their approach. Appearing to be “salesy” can detract from the professionalism. I like how the idea is to appeal to the curiosity of the potential buyer and show them the benefit of my service through compelling copy and imagery. Jackson deserves credit for adding even more motivation to ‘liking’ the video. Thanks Jackson! If a dog can do it, so can I!

Excellent and very timely video, as I have launched my 3rd book and have a reader magnet for it. The responses have been good, just not great and I think by changing my approach from 'Free' to offering something of value, benefit to the reader, then I am hopeful my current email list will go from good to great. Thank you so much for this advice.

I've found that giving away free chapters of my book works well when I can talk to people in person. They see me, vibe with me and, since I'm likeable (😉) they readily give me their email address to get a preview of my book. But, I think this works differently when someone is coming across you and your work online. You have to find a remote way to charm them. I've tried to leave this comment two other times since yesterday with a link to my lead magnet, but clearly YT doesn't like that. Here it is without the link! 🙂 ❤
