I just watched this video because I got an Always Fully Booked Planner for Christmas. Didn't want to be spoiled for how it looked inside. I would love to see more of your planner content. I love the idea of coloring in the ratings on the page where it has 152 books read with a different color for star ratings. I wish she would include and extra page for this because i sually read more than 152 books. I am using the goak page for reading goals and may using the quote pages for personal goals. I don't write down quotes. Happy New Year!

YES, please let us see your reading journal updates. I am equally a reader and a planner. My favorite videos combine those two subjects! I keep a reading journal because all my books are e-books or audiobooks. I am a visual person and love keeping snapshots of all the book covers. My 2024 journal is the Little Inklings dated journal. The company’s customer service is wonderful. The quality of the planner is excellent. But no pre-made reading planner has everything I need/want to journal. And they also have pages I’ll never use. (I don’t watch tv and I haven’t been out to see a movie since Where the Crawdad’s Sing was released.) My biggest problem with all the journals I’ve purchased between 2022 and 2024 is that I read more books than the planners can hold. Last night I finished book 202 for 2024 and I’m still reading. My 2024 planner only has space for 150 books, and it was the largest planner I’ve found to date. My 2025 planner is a self-made bullet journal. I started creating the pages back in August. Doing mindless things like drawing tables while listening to audiobooks has been relaxing and satisfying. This will hold all my stats and, hopefully, be my pretty journal. When I ran out of space for my 2024 book reviews, I started a new book review bullet journal, which is a separate format that holds little thumb nails of the book cover and a synopsis of each storyline. Since I am a mood reader, I like to go back and reread books when present events remind me of various story lines. Since I read many series, with lots of books, remembering which title carries certain plot lines since the early 2010’s is too much for my brain. My synopsis lists all the dramatic plot points…like the main character trying to drive through 2 inches of running water and getting swept into a flooded river. Quite often I take my Goodreads review and copy/paste it into this document. I try very hard to write data only once and copy it if I need to elsewhere. Also, I make a Series Character List that I can reference and add to for each new book. This isn’t a pretty journal. It is a quickly written document that I scribble story notes about as I am reading. It is also why I am not bothered by long character lists! Today, I am updating my stats for December and getting ready to combine my monthly stats into my annual data spread. I haven’t even completed my 12 favorite books for 2024 yet. Picking one favorite is almost impossible. I might break it out into fiction, non-fiction and Christian favorites. I cannot pick just one! Sorry for the length of this reply. You hit my favorite topic with this video! 😂

I love the idea of a reading planner! I’ve order a couple book journals but I was never inspired to follow a format. I finally found a regular journal at our local craft market that I turned into my “bullet journal” and now I can’t live without it. I’m not that artistic, or good at drawing, but this is the first time I stuck to a book planner. We all have to find the one that works! I can’t wait to see more updates on how you are filling it. Thanks for sharing!

Love planner content! I used an always fully booked planner for half of this year and just didn't end up using a lot of the pages and got bored with it. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of reading journal I want to do if any. I love bullet journaling but it's just way too time consuming. Also, I don't really know what I would do with them afterwards. I have no room for a bunch of journals to be taking up space on my shelves. 😄

Megan had other reading journals. Some are undated and most have less features than the AFB
