I just discovered this channel and it feels like nostalgia heaven. I was obsessed with R.L. Stine books growing up as a kid, and remember being at the library all the time reading those books in addition to any horror book I could find, whether Children, Teen, or Adult. If I had known how valuable and precious a lot of these books were gonna be now (especially first editions) I wouldn't have lost them throughout time. I hope someday you're able to do audiobooks of those super rare Fear Street books that are now impossible to find. XD

You absolute madman, always with the gargantuan hauls. I think you’re the only booktuber I follow that’s also an admitted “book collector” (not just reading the books but also buying them as collectibles). There’s something about “collecting books” as artifacts that I had never considered before. They really are curious objects! There’s also something about buying used books that’s so strange and alluring, especially peering into the activity of the previous owner. These days, though, it’s always a good idea to do so with a little hand sanitizer 😂

Yeah, I’m definitely equal parts reader and collector. I love physical books as objects, especially old ones because not only do they contain stories, but the books themselves have a story. It’s cool to think about where they’ve been and who read them before me. With hand sanitizer of course! 😂

As you can tell, I am always behind on subs so I don't usually watch book hauls anymore--I always watch yours, though. I'm sure I acquire too many as well but they make me happy. I personally love watching book hauls, best way to add to the TBR. Also, I have read some stories by HP Lovecraft and I don´t like his writting style, but his mythos is so iconic in cosmic horror I decided I needed to read at least his most famous stories... and then I found Dark Adventure Radio Theatre (by The Lovecraft Historical Society) and I LOVE their adaptations. They are so fun to listen and most are around 1 hr long, so they don´t take too much time.

I once said you do too many book hauls, but then stopped. I actually do like you book hauls, and my intent wasn't to complain about the book hauls, it was more of a causal comment with a smile on my face. But you should try doing something crazy like doing a video where you go into a few used book stores and buy out the entire section of the horror section. You could be the MrBeast of the horror tube community.
