I always ponder that if I lived in the days and place Jesus was on the Earth, would I have followed him? Because I fail Him so often in my daily life right now. But I will keep doing the best I can. Thanks to HIM. And Thank You Both again so much for this wonderful Lesson. AND comments are always neat to read. Thanks. Have a Blessed Week everyone here and involved with these weekly lessons.

@Dont_B_MuD Tuo_can_sam_ouT Don't worry, friend. I don't believe everyone and everything I hear. I seek truth from the source. I want to know what God wants me to do better on. I seek the witness of the Holy Spirit and the Fruits of the Spirit to know what is true. And yes, truth can sometimes hurt, but people can choose to turn to God when hurt or choose to turn away from Him.

@@queen_banana22 Thank you for your sweet reply. I actually do have a strong testimony of my own. I just am finding the daily struggles challenging at times and with all I do know, How can I still fail. BUT grateful for Our Lord that we can Repent daily and learn, as the lesson well taught, not to judge others. I am still learning daily. Thank you for your comment annam8179. I am grateful for the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and all the scriptures that help us to learn and come to know our Saviour more today. We could be those Pharisees and unbelievers too, if we don't learn, study, grow and DO God's will. We can all change within us to be better disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are indeed that 4th classroom and isn't it such a blessing? 3 Nephi 15 gives a beautiful reminder that Jesus gave the law and "hath come to fulfil the law" 3 Nephi 15:5. Thank you for helping us to enlarge our understanding.❤

You mentioned wishing you had been able to testify that Jesus had sent you, while you served your mission as a young 19 year old. I often do the same… wish I had known earlier what I know now. But I think that is all part of the journey. We develop our testimonies over time. That is one of the purposes of our time in mortality. Experience and time are necessary for our faith to become stronger and more vibrant.

I see a parallel between the Jewish leaders in the time of Jesus and people today. How often do we judge others who are in circumstances that we have no understanding of? The Pharisees had never been blind, had no idea what it felt like being blind, and yet they presumed to judge the blind man and cast him out. This sort of thing happens all the time in our day. Perhaps we should hold back from judging others who are in circumstances we have never dealt with ourselves. I think we can only judge them in righteousness when we can understand their trials and obstacles (or ask Heavenly Father for an understanding at the very least).

Beautiful. I loved all the amazing insights from this wonderful presentation. That interactive map is out of this world. I loved the discussion about the blind man and the process it took for him to be healed. It answered my own questions. I think the Lord's love deepens for his children whenever he sees us doing difficult things because he asked us. I too have been this blind man and still am. There have been many times I have done hard things and not understood why. I have also asked the Lord why do I have to work for and earn my healing for things out of my control. As I am sure this blind man would have on his way to the waters. Although blindess wasn't this man's fault, I believe because he did what was asked, not only was he healed, other gifts were given to him in that process. The way I see it, not only was he healed, he was also blessed with wisdom and confidence, amongst other things. I am sure he never thought a time would ever come when he would stand before the Pharisees and Sanheidrens and speak his truth with confidence. Thank you SC, you guys are the best as usual. Thank you, Bro Griffin and Bro Halverson, for always speaking and teaching with the spirit ❤️.

T&T Brothers, what an incredible amount of Pondering Principles to consider and to be uplifted from during this week's Scripture Block. I love the tie-in from Chapter 8 where the Savior writes with his finger in vs. 6 on the ground and said, "he that is without sin among you, let him first cast the stone at her" Is not this the same God with the SAME finger that wrote the Law to Moses on Sinai? And here he is giving the "HIGHER Law" to the ruling class of Jerusalem? Oh, the irony here is so delicious to consider!! Thank you my friends for the further LIGHT and truth this week!!!

We, the Latter-day Saints are more than just a fourth audience. We are the finishers of scripture stories. His last recorded words to this women in the midst (of morning light) where not the "end" of that story. In fact, it was the begining of her conversion story. And the scripture says "In the begining". We finish the scripture stories with our own testimony of truth, as it was, as it is, as it will be.

Taylor, I will never read about Christ writing in the dirt, without thinking about that same finger writing on those tablets of stone, which contained the 10 Commandments. Yet not just that act, but the stones that the brother of Jared, Mahonri, gave to Christ and He touched them to give them light while crossing the waters, and Light as we all study His perfect example.

Appreciate your special efforts. You point out that in John 7 that they were surprised he could read. This was not the case in Luke 4:16 where it was his custom as he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. In Nazareth he must have been well known since he grew up there versus Galilea. Just a point.

Shared this on Lynn Hilton Wilson's video but I think it is relevant to the woman taken in adultery. Jeremiah 17:13 has the following: 13 O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters. To me, we can be written in the lamb's book of life, celestial, or somewhere else. Perhaps written in the earth, or terrestrial. My impression is he was writing their names “in the earth” and their hearts were pricked with a recollection of this passage. A theory. Shalom to all.

You’re welcome to message me and I will tell you the exact information.. also resent excavation of Nazareth reveal it was a Roman city there. It supports the scholar work I have read I think they were more mocking Nicodemus because he went to school there to pick on him- power struggles.. he must have seam week as he was leaning to believe Jesus. “ does anything good come from Nazareth”

I think the blind man was also listening as Christ spoke to those men who were trying to stone him. And he was blind not understanding but he was open to receive and Christ let him see in more ways than one because Christ knew this man and his goodness and he wanted to be sure he knew that what Christ was speaking was truth and not those men And Christ knew what he was doing sending that man away from that temple and those people who could tempt him and persuade him I'm not so sure it's about making the blind man show faith as it is about having the blind man get away from those evil people. Maybe both. And now he can bring others into Christ like we do

As long as we respect each other and care for each other, I think we are doing okay. Each find the truth for ourselves. And Our Savior spoke all truths. He is the Way for me personally, because he leads me to do good for others.
