@@sausana2501 I just finished The Winter of Our Discontent. Good book and on the shorter side, an easy read. Grapes of Wrath is another one that's recommended a lot but I'm not sure if I want to read it. The book Tales of the Perilous Realm has the story of Tom Bombadil as well as Roverandom, Farmer Giles of Ham, Smith of Wootton Major and Leaf by NIggle, illustrated by Alan Lee. Also Tolkien wrote Christmas letters to his children starting in 1920 which are in the book Letters From Father Christmas fully illustrated by Tolkien himself and Mr.. Bliss illustrated by Tolkien as well. I love your videos and your picks for the autumn.

You made me realize I had also somehow not read any Sherlock Holmes - so I just put that on my TBR for next year. As for this autumn, early winter - I'll be reading A Psalm for the Wild Built, The Scarlet Pimpernel, dayspring (by Anthony Olivera), Thousand Autumns (千秋), Averno (Poems) by Louise Glück, Thirst by Marina Yuszczuk, The Scandalous Letters of V and J by Felicia Davin, The Knowing-Doing Gap (nonfiction), Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson, The Will of the Many (on audio), The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success and This is How You Lose the Time War. Look forward to your reviews and thoughts!

OK. I’m shocked about Sherlock Holmes. I just reread the whole Sherlock Holmes canon earlier this year for about the fifth time. The last time was probably over 20 years ago, so it was time. Actually, I just picked up The Complete Works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Delphi Classics) and started reading. The first 2,000 pages or so are Sherlock Holmes. Following that were the Professor Challenger novels. Then it moves on to Doyle’s historical fiction. I just stared Micah Clarke, which I’ve not read before. Following that in the collected works is The White Company, which I’ve read a few times (not even counting the Classics Illustrated version I read as a little shaver) and tremendously enjoyed. Looking forward to reading its prequel Sir Nigel too. Doyle has a lot of other fine writing I’ve not got to yet.

They're a fascinating bunch!! And they're everywhere hahah! They really support life on Earth, there's no vegetation without them - The fall of Hyperion - (continuing & finishing) Don Quijote - Everything in its right place (an analysis on Radiohead's music) - Children of ruin by Adrian Tchaikovsky (the continuation of Children of time which I also VERILY recommend for the depth of speculativeness - :)) - & research & succesfull otherness... CoT also feels quite stand-alone to me) - Was thinking of getting Silo (loved the tv show!! but season 2 comes out next yearrr) or The 3-body problem... not sure - Trying Practical magic maybe? - The Assassin's apprentice - Most def some Terry Pratchett
