I read In The Garden of Beasts immediately after watching Zone of Interest.. non fiction about the US Ambassador to Berlin as Hitler is just starting to gain power.. very interesting and appalling to see how inactive and preoccupied the US was in hindsight

I couldn’t imagine going straight from watching Zone of Interest to that. Definitely some horrifying and depressing stuff.

Had to force myself to watch Maestro and it was such a let down, I finally gave it a shot when I found out it was about his bisexual struggle between his wife he loved and the men he was attracted to, but I think you have to be a musical theatre kid to love this one

Yeah I don’t envision it to be a movie for me. I feel like if I already knew about him or a greater interest in the subject, I would have.
