The Power of Now by Tolle really changed my life. It's the book that he wrote before A New Earth. I'm looking forward to reading that one. All of the people who successfully break out of the matrix always mention The 4-hour work week. Your channel has been an inspiration for me. For those looking for guided meditations in podcasts, Hay House publishing has a podcast channel full of them.

I love that you included the 4-hour workweek. Even saying “My goal is just to be free.” There were so many concepts in that book that shifted my mentality on what it means to work and be “productive.” This was a really good video. I was hooked from the beginning.

I found A New Earth difficult to comprehend on my first read. It took reading it several times, each time uncovering something different. It's not an easy read for me, quite cerebral in that I have to be really present when I'm reading it or I miss the lessons entirely

I'm a big believer in messages in books coming to you at the time you need them. It's all just about what resonates in your current reality, so that just maybe doesn't for you rn and that's okay! I've had that with a lot of book recs

YES! Broad City was surprisingly spiritual for me. Not outright in theme, but it really made me shift my paradigm at the time, and it has stuck with me ever since. It really was like, oh, life's just a ride, and what's the big deal? Love Midnight Gospel too, fantastic show! It also gives you all sorts of jumping-off points for research and rabbit holes to follow.

Some More suggestions: KZbin channels The Alchemist Aaron Abke Aubrey Marcus Blu (All recent discoveries that I would have loved finding earlier on my path) Music: Sleeping at Last (Particularly Atlas I and II, at least they are my favorites; helped me A LOT to stay open and curious during an extremely difficult time) Okay. That’s all that immediately comes to mind and I felt inspired to share with your audience. :) (KZbin fed me this and I let it play and then felt the prompt to point to these for whoever may find it useful. ❤️🙏🏼🌈) Another edit: the movie Lucy with Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman. 🤯

YESSS between Midnight Gospel, meditation, and tripping, that all lead me to my spiritual awakening. I rewatch midnight gospel all the time. Another good podcast is The Duncan Trussell Family Hour. Duncan Trussell is co-creater of Midnight Gospel and voices Clancy. On top of that, another good podcast is Ram Dass Here and Now which contains excerpts from Ram Dass's lectures. Episodes range from 5 min to 1 hr & 30 min. Love your videos Lynette!! Keep on keeping on. Also, do you go to music festivals??? You should go to Electric Forest!! The 9-5 job, the economical and technical system, id nrs, having to pay for the land you live on in the first place, how everything is set up is part of the matrix though and opposes our natural freedom to live as we want UNLESS we consent to some extent. Financial freedom is still consent for living in this structure. Its like you have to consent or you’ll feel bad because you dont like doing something against your will but feel unable to change it, so then you’ll be the sleeping one because you’re fighting your own thoughts and holding on to these negative beliefs that someone else has control over you and you’re not enough to live as you like, you’re stuck in a mindset of limitation, have unresolved traumas etc.. which is true btw, but you get my point?
