I live in a countryside city but where I live is actually downtown city so I don’t get to run in the field and stare at trees. There’s nothing more that my soul has been CRAVING this past year than doing just that. Sit with nature, listen to the birds sing, notice the seasons change, feel the wind in my hair, listen to the waves over and over again. So if you’re reading this and have all of the above consider yourself LUCKY and go enjoy our beautiful Earth (if not for you, for this stranger who’s speaking to you ahaha)

I might recommend Elizabeth von Arnim's The Enchanted April. Four women at the beginning of the 20th century just decide to rent a villa in Italy and go there experience the blooming spring month. The author wrote the novel while enjoying a similar holiday so it's full of vitality and colour. Very underrated author.
