The first two films are faithful to the books, more or less. The third film really veers away from the book and the fourth film only skims the plot, as you point out. One scene I wish they kept in was the House of Gaunt in Part 6. Voldemort was much scarier in the book, he was a bit silly at times in the films. Nice video
