He also seemed like he was experiencing severe burnout, as he lost motivation and will to do anything he loved. If I were him I would’ve reacted the same way, he knew he wouldn’t be believed either way

Dhar, you have a HUGE responsibility to do the right thing if you make a part 2 to this - which you SHOULD. I see many wanting Dominic to be suspended from school for paralyzing Khalil. No. Not good enough. You see, Dom needs to be taken to court and get a few years in prison for malicious and intentional paralyzation of Khalil. That's how real life would go and Dhar, you really should NOT shy away from going that route with this. No amount of the usual apology and "'ah I forgive you.' and now they're friends" should be in any part 2 of this IMHO. I know you strive to teach lessons, Dhar, so you need to REALLY teach it for this one. What happened to Khalil via that bully has to be the worst thing I've seen happen to any character in a skit. There's a huge lesson and warning to be shown here. AKA 'Actions have consequences and there are many to where your freedom WILL be taken from you. No amount of regret can change it.'

"if you're thinking of bullying me, just leave me alone. i don't want to go through this again." Khalil said. "that's not what I'm here for, khalil." Dominic said, while he's on a wheelchair. "I came here to say sorry." "for what?" Khalil asked. "for how I treated you." Dominic replied. "and I guess you're probably wondering whats with the wheelchair, so... i might as well say it. I got into a car accident weeks ago... my other buddies were fine with only minor injuries, but fate ended up having other plans for me. and over the past few weeks... i suffered a lot." "I'm sorry that you had to go through all that, dom." Khalil said, as he expresses his apology. "no, khalil. i should be the one that should be saying sorry. i shouldn't have judged or bullied you until I am forced to walk in the victim's shoes." Dominic said, as he sighed. "but also, i'm just sad that my days of playing football is just... over for good." "well, I've been through this before, dom. but as a kind person once told me... it's important to see the positive, because the negatives are actually blessings in disguise." "khalil... i appreciate the kind words, but... i just don't see how the negatives are actually blessings in disguise." dominic said. "well, the chess club is currently finding some new members..." khalil said, as he passes over a flyer for the chess club to dominic. "maybe this could be your chance to make a comeback in times of rough." dominic looks at the flyer, but he hesitates. "if you have made up your mind, let me know." khalil said. "have a great day, dom." as khalil wheels away from dominic, dominic looks at the flyer with deep thoughts. and then... "I guess you can say that your club now has a new member." dominic says, as khalil turns his wheel chair back to see dominic finally making the choice to join the club. "so... when do I start?" the video ends with khalil smiling, knowing that he now has a new member to coach and assist in the chess club.
