Why almost all the books in a world are not interests me??? They're all names are boring and lacking values. Take a look at it yourself: " 21st cigarette ", " Man and a beer ", " Her tea cup and a sea ", " How to paint my window ", " A train by the beach ", " Why men needs to be with men all their life ", " Socks on a laundry ", " How to get your girfriend's friend ", Leaving my spouse ", " How to catch a fish anywhere ", " Juan's dog ", " Throw me the ball ", " People that play soccer ", " Last drink ", " How to accept the old age ", " Hey, George! ", etc. WTH??? Am I a alien or you all feel like me?

The starless sea can be a bit confusing towards the later half of the book but hang in there when reading because it’s magical and beautiful and stunning! I personally liked The Night Circus more but I think that’s just because I’m a hopeless romantic and it appealed more to my romantic heart. Thanks for the recommendations! I’ve added a few to my own list ☺️

Have you looked into Courtney Peppernell? She is a poet, and most recently I have read her Watering the Soul and I would describe that as soft winter poetry. It is so gentle and just comforting to read and it had a beautiful feeling about it too. It may be worth looking into.

I'll be interested in what you think of Jane Austen. I only read two of her books, and I dnfed one but I plan on going back to it at a later date. The two I did read I didn't absolutely love but I still enjoyed a great deal are Mansfield Park and Northanger Abbey. Personally for me, to read classic I have to be deeply feeling like reading it, so like reading clubs and buddy reads wouldn't work for me for classics. These two though are the least popular works. The latter of them is actually a parody of a gothic novel and it had a humourous charm to it that I appreciated. The first I read because it features a play and that is something I enjoy reading about in books. It wasn't as big in the novel as I hoped but I actually liked following Fanny as a character and she did have a quiet strength in her.

I’m the same with audiobooks! But I really like listening when I go for walks / on public transport. If I listen at home, I’d usually read the physical book while listening as well :) I just thought I’d share what helped for me because I definitely struggle with distractions when listening to audiobooks but they’re so much fun!!!

I also find audio difficult to follow. What I do is start reading the book, get familiar with the characters and setting, etc and then continue with the audio while I'm having lunch or walking or just lying down with my eyes closed (I try not to follow along with the book because for me the whole point of audiobooks is to not strain my eyes).
